NAO Santa Maria to be in Key West from May 14th to May 23rd.


One of my favorite things to do with people after they buy a home from me is help them learn our island's history. I can teach you all about Florida Keys Real Estate but often times I need help with the history of Key West. Here is a great opportunity to learn some of our history.


The Nao Santa María is one of the most famous ships of humanity. On October 12th, 1492, captained by Christopher Columbus, protagonist of one of the most important milestones in history: the Discovery of America, the Meeting between the Worlds that is related to the evolution of universal history.

The visit consists of a self guided tour through the 5 decks of the Santa María, where you can find informative panels with the history of the ship, ornamental elements of the time and talk with the crew to feel how to live the Spanish sailors 500 years ago.

Price:

Adults $15, Kids $5 (between 5 and 22 years old), Family $35 (Includes up to two adults and three kids). Under 5 is free.

Schedule:

  • From May 14th to 23rd.
  • From 10am to 2pm and 4pm to 8pm

COVID-19 MEASURES

  • Limited capacity, online ticket sales to control capacity for hours.
  • Points with disinfectant gels
  • Mandatory use of a mask
  • Admission rights. If any crew member detects that the visitor is breaking any of the rules.

Dates can be altered by adverse weather conditions.
