Coast Guard rescues 4 Mexican fishermen off Key West

We all look forward to getting out on the water as soon as we buy a home in the Florida Keys. Call me today and we can do both. Buy a waterfront home and park your boat right in the backyard. That being said, be prepared, learn the waters and be careful. Regular routine maintenance on your boat can prevent a life threatening experience like these men below had.

Coast Guard crews rescued four men after their fishing boat became disabled off of Key West.

The fishermen told rescue crews they left from Cancun, Mexico, on Aug.29 in a boat named Aqua Limo II. It broke down off of Key West and they were left with no food, water or fuel, the Coast Guard said in a news release on Wednesday.

The Coast Guard towed the boat and brought the men to Station Key West. They were checked out by medical staff. An air crew from U.S. Customs and Border Protection spotted the boat just after noon on Tuesday about 65 miles southwest of Key West.

I can help you buy your Florida Keys dream home and even hook you up with a good boat dealer but only you can decide to be prepared and learn the waters. Take some marine mechanics classes and boater safety classes so you can go boating safely every day when you buy your home in the Florida Keys from me.
