Today is a day that both buyers and sellers want to take note of. Whether you're planning on buying or selling a home in the Florida Keys, days like today will affect home prices. If you're looking to buy a home in Key West or the Lower Keys, don't drag your feet. When we have no new listings hit the MLS but we have sales close today, inventory has gone down. The common rule of supply and demand will cause you to pay more money for the same or a like type home. Sellers, a lower inventory will cause that same rule of supply and demand kick in to benefit you too. If you have been on the fence on whether to sell or not, a lower inventory will allow you to ask for more money for your home. If there are only one or two homes similar to yours in the same neighborhood as yours, you can stick firm on your price or maybe even ask for more money/ If there are a dozen similar homes for sale in your neighborhood, you will have to be a little negotiable to entice a buyer to choose your home over your neighbor's.
I'm running an offer right now that anyone who buys or sells any house anywhere in the Florida Keys, I will credit you $1,000 of my commission to go towards your closing costs. This offer is good until June 30, 2024. I know we are getting close to June 30th so I have extended this offer. You do not have to close by June 30th. If you are selling a home, the Listing Agreement just has to be signed by June 30, 2024. If you are buying a home, the Contract for Purchase and Sale just has to be signed by June 30, 2024. Then we can close after the deadline date and I will still honor that $1,000 commitment. We may not have had any new listings come on the MLS today but we have hundreds of great homes in a large variety of locations, home styles and prices to choose from. Let me put my 23 years of experience to work for you. Looking for your dream home? I'm sure I can find it for you.
